So it has been soooo long since I have blogged; November 3rd 2010 to be precise. Well a lot has happened in my life, how about yours?
The biggest most significant thing that happened in my life was the addition of our beautiful baby girl Eloise. She is nearly 8 months old now, which is incredible. So I now have a 3 yr old an an almost 8 month old to contend with when it comes to creating.
My mothers group I'm in on Facebook for mums who were due when Ellie was are a talented bunch. They have inspired me so much with my sewing/creating and also made me incredibly jealous of some of their talent, ideas and time that they have to be creative. I love having them to bounce ideas off though.
It's also because of them that I am now blogging again. We have started a spin off group with a craft challenge. So each month we vote to include a type of craftiness in a project we already have on the go or time permitting, create something new.
This month is a zip.
So I currently don't have anything on the go that could use a zip so am thinking of something to do. Actually in saying that, I've just remembered i'm trying to make a back pack for the Roo Dude, but it is way way way way back on the back burner at present.
Some of the mum's are doing cushions, or a skirt but I'm trying to think of something different, so far no luck.
March is quilt squares and I have a bit of experience there, but I will leave that for the next post.
